On Tuesday, April 29, 2014, the annual Student Life Awards Ceremony took place at the DeSales University Center. Sarah Brodt ’14 and Katie Rosser ’15 served as student leader hosts for the evening as a number of DeSales students were recognized for their service to the Student Life Department during the past year.
Listed below are the recipients of the various awards along with the presenters. In addition, members of Delta Delta and the Student Government Association (SGA) Executive Board were inducted into their new roles and members of the L.E.A.DSU (Leaders Emerging at DeSales University) program received their certificates of completion.
THE JOHN A. HANLEY SPIRIT OF DE SALES AWARD

This honor is awarded to an individual whose actions, positive attitude, and exemplified spiritual life has influenced DeSales University.
DR. JERRY JOYCE STUDENT ENGAGEMENT AND LEADERSHIP AWARD

Presented to an individual, who has demonstrated exceptional leadership in student activities, engaged other students through clubs and organizations and has dedicated themselves to enhancing the school spirit of DeSales University to their peers and the community.
